Operating system
Windows Vista /  7 /  8 / 10 , 64-bit.
Pentium 4 / AMD Athlon 64, or any x86 CPU supporting SSE3 128 bit processing. Multi-Core recommended.
Input video wrappers and codecs
Support for nearly all video formats and wrappers4: AVI, MOV,MXF, MP4,MKV,,MPEG2, h.264, h.265,  DV SD,etc, including: Support for SD/HD/4K cameras including HDV, AVCHD, Gopro, XDCam, MXF1, Panasonic AVC-Intra, Sony XAVC, DV, DVCam, DVCPro, DVCProHD, and newest HDSLRs including Canon and Panasonic. Support for pro formats like DNxHD4, ProRes4, VC-5/Cineform4, Grass Valley4 and uncompressed formats like V210,V410, etc. Support for photo cameras/ phone cameras. Image sequence input supported including PNG with transparency channel.
1: Partial MXF support from some cameras. 2: About bit depths supported, FootageStudio version 1.1 supports 8 and 16 bits per pixel internal processing, depending on the input and output video bitdepths, the internal 8 or 16 bits processing workflow is automatically selected for each video being processed. 3: output video dimensions up to 4k. 4: video codecs supported depending on libraries and codecs installed in the system, for more information about codecs please see the help file.
Input video Chroma
YUV 4:2:0, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4.  Chroma stored in YUV 4:1:1, RGB, and other formats are supported.

8-bit, 9-bit, 10-bit, 12-bit, 14-bit, 16-bit, or any supported by input codecs2. Bitdepth downsampling to 8/16-bit.
